EJ's shoulder update
Praise the Lord there is nothing wrong with EJ's shoulder! He has osteochondroma of the scapula. Basically, the bump on his right shoulder blade is a genetic overgrowth of cartilage and, most importantly, non-cancerous. We can opt to have it removed, but the doctor recommends leaving it be. It doesn't hurt him at all, so why bother doing surgery?

Thank Goodness he's alright... It is so scary when there is something going on that you just don't know what is... I am happy it was good news....It's nice when you know you have God to look after your children...
Brian had that same thing (or something similar). We were living in Singapore when we noticed it and were told the same thing as you guys. We did finally have it removed in DC because it was growing and he felt self conscious about it. But, with EJ still growing he might grow out/in to it?
