I finally got around to making my Christmas cookies! I truly intended to do so before the holiday, but things were way too hectic. While making the cookies, I realized the following: (1) The cookies aren't very Christmas-y at all. I don't like making sugar cookies and then having to decorate them and there aren't any distinct characteristics that make them Christmas-y. (2) My definition of Christmas cookies must be different from other's. When I say "Christmas cookies" I mean making a bunch of different kind of cookies. They don't have to be Christmas-y at all. I ended up making Thumbprint cookies, Snickerdoodles, Black Bottome cupcakes, Peanut Butter Kiss cookies, and Fun cookies. All turned out pretty yummy. My sister, Tammy, will finally be getting the cookies I've been promising for a month!

Christmas Cookies
