Sometimes I can't believe the things kids say, including my very own. Tonight there were two classics...the first was by EJ and then Alison has a good one too!
1 - EJ needed some badges for his Cub Scout uniform, so we all went out to get what he needed. We had to travel towards the mall, which is at least a 40-minute drive. Usually, EJ is allowed to play video games on weekends, but seeing this was our second venture up to the mall in two days, he was allowed to bring his PSP. You know how boys play those games and don't recognize anything else going on, right? Well, we are literally about 5 minutes from home and EJ asks, "Where are we? Are we still near the mall?" It made me laugh and proceed to point out the window and say, "Yes, EJ, there's the mall. We've been circling it for 40 minutes now!"
2 - Once we FINALLY get home, Alison wants to know if it's a bath night. It is. She is excited about that and the fact that Evan isn't sick anymore. [Evan & Ali still bathe together, but we wouldn't let them on Saturday when Evan threw up. It was only a one time vomit, so I know it was a fluke thing.] Anyway, the next thing I hear her say is, "EJ, Evan isn't sick anymore, we can talk and breathe!" I guess she hasn't been doing either since Saturday?
