What a faker!

On Sunday, before heading over to our friend's for a BBQ, we stopped at the storage unit to pick up some things we planned on giving to them. While Jay & the kids were waiting for me, he took the kids for a walk. Well, EJ challenged his sister to a race and she fell. OH, it's the end of the world when Alison gets hurt. Lately, she has been milking every cut, scrap & bruise. She carries on and on with the whining, which gets old quite quickly. Jay bandaged her knee up with what we had in the diaper bag, but it still wasn't enough. I could hear Ali crying and saying, "But it hurts," when after 5-10 minutes you know the pain subsided. I was halfway listening when Jay says to Ali, "If you stop crying we'll go to Starbuck's." There was silence instantaneously! I know bribery isn't always the best policy for child-rearing, but boy does it work in this family! HA HA!!
