...we FINALLY got to Germany!
That in and of itself is a whole different story, but we made it and that's all that counts.
There were a few reservations we had to cancel, but the biggest part of our trip was driving to the beaches of Normandy in France. On our way, we stayed a night in Paris (what a hard life we have) and took an awesome bike tour of the city of lights. I would HIGHLY recommend you seeing the city in this manner. We went through Fat Tire Bike Tours, as recommended, and was so happy with it! This LINK will direct you to all we've seen.
Doing a bike a 7 p.m. bike tour sure helps with jet lag! Evan loved "peddling" on his bike.
EJ & Ian, whom we hardly saw on the bike tour because they were right up front with the tour guide the entire time!
Waiting for Jay & Alison who had bike problems
Along the tour, we got to see SO many amazing buildings. Paris is stunning!
This café boasts of visitors such as Hemingway, James Joyce & Picasso
The locks are symbols of undying love
Notre Dame

Our bike tour took us to the Louvre, one of the world's largest museums. When we visited Germany in 2006, we actually went inside and saw as much as we could in a few hours. The art is amazing and extensive so we saw what we really wanted to see with having two small children (I was big & preggo with Evan at the time).

Stunning architecture
At the end of the bike tour, you get on a boat and go down the River Seine! Wine is poured and you relax on the river while gazing at the Eiffel tower and locals enjoying their evening along the banks.
THIS MAKES ME HAPPY! I absolutely LOVE Paris and can't wait to go back!!!
Enjoying the boat ride with our close friends!
Alison waking up in Paris!! Considering we didn't go to bed until midnight AND are trying to overcome jet lag, we'll let Evan sleep a bit longer!
