September 11, 2001. A day no one ever wants to relive, yet it lives within us everyday. We can remember the events of that day as if it happened yesterday. You won't meet a person who doesn't know where they were or what they were doing "when the world stopped turning." We pray something like that never happens again.
Yet, our military families DO live it EVERYDAY. There is not a military spouse wondering when they will be told their husband is getting deployed again or a child hoping their daddy can stay home a little bit longer before leaving. The article below puts a new perspective on what it is military families experience. Read it and think, really think, about what our country has sacrificed in order to NEVER have another day like 9/11/01.
