Evan is a big boy now!

This new five year old is currently asleep on the couch with a stomach bug.  The poor little guy is pathetic.  Let's hope it's just a 24-hour sickness and he is healthy for Christmas morning! 

Evan sure has enjoyed turning five.  As he said, "Turning five makes me a big boy."  For his birthday this year, we held a party at the local jump yard where he invited friends from the neighborhood and his preschool class.  His big brother & sister were at school during the party, but they didn't mind.  For dinner, he chose Red Robin because he knew they'd sing to him and give him an awesome birthday sundae.  He was extra lucky because some friends of ours were also dining in the restaurant and they sent over another sundae.  Evan was gracious enough to share with his brother and sister.  We were so full from dinner that we didn't sing and have cake with him until the next night!
