Our Prinny girl is 7! Where has the time gone. Her birthday is always a bittersweet time of year. My Mom passed away just 18 days before she was born so I go through a lot of emotions from Thanksgiving until Ali's birthday. She is greatly missed and it makes me sad that she never got to meet her second granddaughter. Anyway...
Alison's 7th birthday fell on a Friday this year. She was SO excited that it was also pajama/Polar Express day. (Remember, last year it snowed on her birthday and school was cancelled). Her Daddy surprised her too by taking the day off and showing up at her school with lunch and cupcakes. What was for lunch? Chick-Fil-A, of course! She was thrilled! She got to sit at a separate table with her Daddy & four of her friends. During this time, I was at Evan's holiday party. For dinner, we went to another of her favorite's, The Olive Garden. She made sure she told the waitress it was her birthday and asked her if they were gonna sing. Yeah, my kids aren't shy.
