It's official! I am no longer a Cherry Blossom virgin! HA HA! We visited Washington, D.C. today to see this yearly spectacular of over 3,000 trees in bloom. Although next weekend is the peak, we still got to see what the fuss is all about! The trees are gorgeous and so are all the memorials!
We met up with some friends and walked most of the Tidal Basin (where the majority of the trees are located). It was unplanned, but we also visited the area known as The Mall where alot of the memorials are located. It was a fantastic day for walking as much as we did! The weather was overcast and chilly, yet the rain held out.
