With all the snow we received this February, it was a definite that the kids' Valentine's Day parties would be cancelled. Not this year! Both EJ & Alison had parties exactly a week late, so I didn't get out of decorating a shoebox & making Valentine's for Alison afterall. Ali picked out red/white and black/white scrapbook paper to wrap her shoebox in, but the paper wasn't long enough. We had to improvise so we decoupaged! The box turned out really cute! We were so proud of our work! HOW TO DECOUPAGE:
STEP 1: Rip paper
STEP 2: Brush on Modge Podge (glue) and add paper
STEP 3: Decorate!
STEP 4: Show off work!
These are the Valentine's we made. Alison colored most the pictures
and she signed her name in all 29 of them! .JPG)
^ The lollipop holders were made for the boys.^
The pretty candy hearts were made for the girls, but some received lollipops too because there are more girls than boys in Ali's preschool.
