Judd Trail to Jackass Ginger Falls

One of the top three things I will miss about Hawaii are the hikes.  No matter where you hiked, there was what I like to call a "reward" at the end.  Whether it be an amazing, beautiful view or a cold, hidden waterfall, you would be motivated to get to the end.  The exercise it provided was great too, but often you were sweating to death while doing so since the weather is always at least 80 degrees on the island.  The kids weren't always thrilled with the idea of hiking, but if we were able to go with other families all the kids would be way out in front of us.  At least they weren't in our ears complaining about the heat, thirst, or hunger.
These falls aren't far from off the Pali Highway
and right in someone's back yard

This gang is always so thrilled to hike the rainforest
What we didn't realize until we got back to our car was how close this waterfall is to the road and where we had parked!
While the rest of us enjoy a tropical waterfall,
this boy sits. And waits. And asks, "Are you done yet?"

Who is ready to slide?!?
